My Ocean Currents Experiment

McCahon has been using Thinglink for our learning, it's awesome! And you can add so much of your work into only one interactive image.
We have also been learning about Ocean Currents. This is what we have found-
  • Cold salty water is denser and heaver than  warm or cold freshwater.
  • That surface tension is the thing that holds small insects that can walk on water.
  • We have also found a word which is Thermohaline it means currents caused by salt and temperature.

Yippee! I got my second certificate from XtraMath, and now it is for subtraction. I got this certificate for mastering my subtraction table. I answered all basic facts under 3 seconds. I wonder what my next challenge is going to be, I bet its going to be multiplication.

Marine Habitats, Upside Down Jellyfish

This term we are learning about Marine Habitats, I am learning about the Upside Down Jelly fish.

Here are three really cool facts:
They are always upside down on the bottom of the sea.
Since they are up side down they look like a bunch of sea plants.
They are rarely seen swimming.
